Polyurethane wheels are generally used on reach trucks, powered pallet trucks, all types of stackers and VNA forklifts that are used in warehouses on smooth even floors. They are normally bonded on to a steel band that is then pressed onto the wheel. They have an good level of traction for indoors and possess a low rolling resistance that extends their running life.
